Crowns
Crowns are shells made of porcelain, metal, or a combination of both, which are cemented to the outer surface of the tooth, totally encapsulating it with a new, hard surface. This process strengthens the tooth and can help restore its shape. Crowns are often used to strengthen teeth with extensive fillings or cracks. If you have teeth, which are weakened by large fillings, or have chipped or broken off portions from your teeth, then you may benefit from the procedure of a crown.
